How Patriotic Are Capitalists? Ask Lordstown Ohio GM Workers

We’ve always found it comical when we see the American Flag draped over the New York Stock Exchange, when we know what goes on inside the stock exchange is some of the most anti-patriotic activity in the world. General Motors showed the true capitalist attitude towards patriotism when it laid off 1,600 workers in Lordstown Ohio to shift production to Mexico. Furthermore, these workers understand that GM invested in stock buybacks rather than in the research and development of electric cars.
