Women’s Cooperative in Morocco: Over 6,000 Women Taking Matters Into Their Own Hands

An inspiring story of how women have overcome community obstacles to working outside the home and started their own cooperative. They report that working in coops has improved their standard of living in ways that include sending children to school and having secure access to food and water. Currently there are 360 coops in Morocco involving 6,100 women.
