Who Can Be Won Over and Who Can’t – Soldiers Yes, Cops, No

How do we relate to the armed forces of the state – soldiers and cops? Are they both enemies of the working classes whom we should never consider trying to win over? Should we be open to winning both of them over under specific conditions?
This article beautifully contrasts the differences between soldiers and police and argues that the cops are servants of the rulers who were created to serve them. They are our enemy. However, soldiers are needed to be won over for revolutions to be successful. The author gives an example from the Russian Revolution.
