“We’re all being too harsh on Priti Patel. We all know what it’s like to accidentally meet a foreign head of state down the campsite.”

Hilarious perspective from The Independent on Priti Patel’s forced resignation from her position as a British government minister because of her “secret” meetings with Israeli officials.

This is very different from what we’re seeing in mainstream media where Patel’s secret meetings with Netanyahu and agreement to support Israel’s military while she was “on vacation” were exposed. Her covert pandering and wheeling-and-dealing was treated as simply a minor bureaucratic slip-up. Oops. No matter that the U.S. already gives piddling $4 Billion a year in military aid to Israel – they need more!
