South and Central American “Pink Tide” Shows Social Democracy Can Work

Much is made of Brazil and Argentina as the powerhouse South American economies. But as this article outlines, other “social democracies” have done well in the past few years. The case of Nicaragua in Central America is particularly inspiring.
