Russian Capitalism Follows Marx: “Developing the Productive Forces”

In the Communist Manifesto Marx paid a very generous compliment to what capitalism, at its best, can do for humanity by “developing the productive forces”. How ironic that one of the leaders in developing these productive forces is the country most demonized by 20th century capitalists – Russia. Today in Russia’s Far East regions there are between 500-800 projects involving oil and gas deposits, as well as ore extraction. No wonder the anemic, nervous financial capitalists of the West, who did not develop these forces, want a war.
