Occupy Sandy Outmaneuvers Disaster Capitalism by Building Loyalty in Rockaway Communities

It was very kind, as well as politically smart, for the Occupy Wall Street people to help the residents in Rockaway after Hurricane Sandy. However, they took it to another level when they decided to stay and build cooperatives and many other projects in the area. What this does is root Occupy in communities. One of the most down-to-earth ways to help build a socialist society is to help people with their existing needs. One future path for Occupy is to voluntary to clean up the messes of Disaster Capitalism.
