International Market Fundamentalism Will Lose to China and May Sink the Stock Market

What is behind the “Trade Wars” with China? The U.S. Empire does not believe any nation-state should have political control over its own economy. The Chinese state, on the other hand, implements policies, at least internationally, that are based on building geopolitical alliances through investments in technology. These commitments  are more important than letting foreign investors come and go as they please. But as William Engdahl points out, if Trump does not back down the results will most likely sink the stock market.
