Heroine of Worker Cooperatives – Jessica Gordon Nembhard

Here are three short videos about one committed revolutionary! Dr. Jessica Gordon Nembhard has integrated a practice of starting and sustaining cooperative at the micro and macro levels. At the macro level she founded The US Federation of Worker Cooperatives, and The Democracy Collaborative. At the micro level, she has initiated and sustained spreading worker cooperatives to rural areas. She has degrees in African American History and Economics and has synthesized this work in a recent book called Collective Courage.
