French Politics a Powder Keg – Fate of the EU in Balance?

Next month a big election is scheduled in France. Whoever wins will have a major impact on determining what becomes of the European Union. Germany has only one major ally in towing the line of the EU – and that is France. But France has major immigration problems and if Le Pen is elected, the commitment of France to support Germany in the EU will be weakened. The European Union is a very important part of global capitalism.
