West Virginia Teachers Star At Biggest-Ever Labor Notes Conference

This year’s Labor Notes Conference was the biggest ever, bringing together 3,000 people from 47 states and 26 countries. There were workshops on “Runaway Inequality” and “Taking on Capitalism”. Labor Notes is the only organization in the US we know of that provides a coordinating framework for for all the labor struggles around the country. But even more importantly, it championed not the union leadership but the collective activity of the rank and file.
