Venezuelan Problem is Not Socialism Failing: It’s Government Timidity in Expropriating Capitalists’ Control!

This long but worthwhile article doesn’t stop with the reality of US intervention or the drop in oil prices. it also points out the bureaucratic blockages to worker takeovers. In the end, the author concludes that it’s not that socialism doesn’t work, but rather attempts to regulate capitalism within socialism don’t work. The government has been too cautious in not expropriating the capitalists’ control over natural resources.
