US Finance Capitalists Follies: 22% of Corporations Likely to Default If Fed Raises Interest Rates

The financial profits of the last 10 years have been based on close to zero % interest rates. Now the Fed is working towards raising the interest rates to what it used to be (about 5%). The problem is that approximately 22% of the corporations are being kept afloat by these low interests rates. Raising these rates will cause these corporations to default, setting off a financial meltdown. As if this isn’t bad enough, Trump continues to antagonize those countries the U.S. needs to finance its debt – Russia and China.
