Strikes Across Italy As Union Organizer is Arrested and Quickly Released

Italy is another of the European countries that are casualties of The European Union (EU). Here the leader of a strike, which has spread to two cities, was arrested and then released within days. Cause of the strike? The usual lowering of wages and workers’ rights.
