A recent survey conducted in the US said that over half the people in the US look favorably on socialism.
This seems to be reflected in the recent elections. This article challenges the DSA strategy of running in elections as Democrats. It points out that some left candidates ran as socialists and did well. Why not continue this? It cautions against looking to the Green Party for socialist politics. But its solution is for DSA to get on the ballot and run its own candidates. This doesn’t make sense to us. Is the Green party so set in its ways that it could not be transformed into a working class party? We think that struggle has more promise.
