Silk Road Across Asia Pulling Iran and Pakistan Towards China

Eighteen years ago world historian Andre Gunder Frank challenged the Marxist view of world history as Eurocentric. He published a book called Re-Orient: Global Economy in the Asian Age. In it he predicted the rise of China and the East in the 21st century. This article confirms his thinking as it shows how the Silk Road is expanding, and as ties with Iran and Pakistan are growing stronger on the basis of building a single infrastructure across Asia.
