Marginalized Workers of the World Are Uniting Without Unions

It is commonly thought that the only way workers have a chance for a better life is to join a union. While unions sometimes help workers, in recent years, with the decline in the standard of living, union leadership has become defensive and accepting of crumbs. But workers around the world, from China and Hong Kong to Europe are showing how it is possible to organize themselves against capitalism without unions.
