Vladimir Putin has plenty of resources to provide for infrastructural projects for the Eurasian continent. For the people of Russia? He has raised the retirement age for women from 55 to 63 and for men from 60 to 65. Putin claims lack of resources for pensions, but the Russian ruling classes have plenty of money for this if they were properly taxed. This move on Putin’s part could undermine the popular domestic support he now enjoys.
