How Hindu Fundamentalism Became the Core of Indian Nationalism

Many people in the US know very little about Hinduism. They know that the fundamentalist wing of Muslims, Jews, Catholics and Protestants have had very violent religious history. But when we turn to Eastern religions, they seem less violent. Well, in the case of Hinduism this is no longer true. Indian nationalism is founded on Hindu fundamentalism, as this article describes.
