Hillary, Finance Capital and Identity Politics: The Left Abandons Class Analysis

The Left Gatekeepers’ current foray into the “Lesser of Two Evils” is rooted in its 45 years of embrace of identity politics and its abandonment of a class analysis as it applies to the “electoral” process. The identification of Hillary to finance capital in this article makes sense. The claim that Trump represents the interest of industrial capital makes sense as it applies to Trump’s connection to the construction industry. However Trump doesn’t call for the re-building of mass transit systems, the repairing of infrastructure or public works program to put people to work. It’s still a provocative article.
