There have been strikes against Amazon working conditions in France, Italy, Germany – and now Spain. The good news is that Amazon workers in other European states are starting to support each other. In response to the walk-out of the workers in Madrid, Amazon tried to reroute its packages to other countries and to use intimidation tactics by managers. In Germany the workers refused to unload them. Amazon and Walmart are ground zero for building solidarity for a global working class.
