Economic Brainwashing Courses Mask Capitalists’ Profit Without Production

Michael Hudson is among the best economists at distinguishing between the real physical economy from fictitious capital, which he calls FIRE. This stands for  profits made on Finances, Insurance and Real Estate. He argues in part that the reason people don’t see this is the brainwashing that goes on in college economic courses.
