Disaster Capitalism in the Philippines

Years ago Naomi Klein defined “disaster capitalism” as capitalists who take advantage of natural disasters by refusing to rebuild existing homes and infrastructures and instead practicing land-grabbing by turning the area into resorts and wealthy enclaves. This article is about that process in the Philippines.
