Cop Organizers Are Not Comrades: A Lesson DSA Still Needs to Learn

As many of you know, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have significantly increased their numbers over the last year. However, their continued refusal to break with the Democratic Party has made us cynical about seeing them as a force for change. In addition, the DSA has recently allowed the organizer for a police union to sit on its national board. This article argues that the police should not be classified as workers – let alone as reformable.
