Chinese World Class Infrastructure Projects: Where Does the Money Come From?

The heart of Chinese investment in infrastructure deals around the world is not as a result of the visionary capitalist entrepreneurs or the stock market “bull markets”. Its secret, according to economist Ellen Brown, is in its state run banks. The loans these banks extend are based on the deposits of its own citizens who would rather save their money than invest in the stock market. There will be no Chinese capitalists begging for government handouts – because the state banks are the government.
