Capitalist Press Censorship Represses Good News In Venezuela

Inseparable ingredients of propaganda include a simplistic twisting of existing facts, as well as the need for censorship of those facts that will undermine the propaganda. Reports on Venezuela are a textbook case. This article cites improvements in healthcare – which is free to 60% of the population; education – where there is the highest literacy rate in Latin America; low cost housing; and civil rights. Pretty good for a “dictatorship”! The image below is a sampling of the bourgeois, lopsided “analysis” of actual housing conditions in Venezuela.
