Argentina Teachers and Students Unite in Week-Long Strike

What makes this strike so exciting is that the teachers have united with students in a common effort. Many unions in the US do not reach out to other sectors. Another exciting development is that the strike is one week long. Most strikes these days last only one day. Finally, the teachers and students are trying to shut down normal classes, and the students are holding “open classes” to teach about the strike. This is the kind of revolutionary activity we need!
