Argentina General Strike: Workers Bypass Wimpy Union “Leadership”

What’s wonderful about this strike is that the population did not take its marching orders from its wimpy union leadership. The union’s idea of being militant was not to go to work – but stay off the streets. The rank-and-file had a real strike and went out on their own. Union leadership, with occasional exceptions, is part of capitalist decadence. What we need are strikes that last more than a day!
